RAYS is a free child mental health program. We support families with children under 12 who are experiencing mental health challenges.
This might include anxiety or low mood, trauma or PTSD, OCD, big behaviours that impact daily life, neurodevelopmental needs with mental health concerns.
RAYS works alongside you, your child, and the people in their world to build skills, reduce distress, and support wellbeing, one step at a time. A little support can make big waves.
Raising the mental health of children, young people, and families
Being a parent brings unique challenges. yourtown offers tailored, therapeutic support designed to meet your child where they’re at.
Programs are offered in welcoming settings for children and their parents/carers. Specialists develop programs and activities that respond to the needs of each child and their family. Some support options include:
- individual therapy sessions for your child
- support for parents and carers (because you matter too)
- in-school or community-based sessions
- advocacy and referrals to get the right support for the whole family
- additional access to 24/7 phone + online counselling for extra support when you need it most.
