BoysTown
BoysTown’s John Perry has been talking about what makes our programs work with Sourceable.net
TRAINING. SUPPORT. EMPLOYMENT
All our employment, education and training programs have a wrap-around care approach to how they operate. For young people this includes developing work skills along with personal support to deal with other issues affecting their lives. This can include alcohol or substance abuse, lack of stable accommodation or disengagement with school and low self-esteem.
We work a lot on life skills and lifestyle because you can’t be up until midnight or one o’clock playing computer games and then believe you are going to be on site and fully functioning at seven o’clock in the morning. John Perry, Employment, Education and Training General Manager.
Last year BoysTown helped more than 9,000 job seekers look for work and change their lives.
