Giving Voice to Kids, Young People and Families
Find out how BoysTown helps over 275,000 children, young people and families each year, by taking a look at our Annual Report. Learn more about our counselling, accommodation, training, education and employment outcomes, along with our research and advocacy work.
How We Help
Children receive counselling, accommodation and/or support from our face to face services and our national telephone and online counselling service Kids Helpline.
Young People are counselled, given training, education and employment opportunities and support from our face to face services and Kids Helpline.
Parents are counselled, accommodated and receive help via our specialist young parents programs, our family violence and family homelessness refuges, and Parentline telephone and online help service.
We are committed to providing a national voice for young people. This year, our work included submissions to Government about child protection, combatting youth unemployment, cyber-safety and Aboriginal employment and justice.
With nearly 70% of BoysTown’s funding coming from the community, none of this work would be possible without our supporters. We are grateful for the generosity of our Art Union ticket buyers, donors, corporate supporters, advocates and the many others who enable us to assist those needing our help.
