I was speechless

A young man from Sydney found his good fortune hard to comprehend when he learned BoysTown’s prize home in the Noosa Hinterland was all his.

People really do win!

Like almost all winners he assumed it was a joke when our CEO Tracy Adams called to tell him he had won a $1.475 million BoysTown Prize Home package.

“I was speechless. I remember saying to Tracy that I may not sound all that excited but it was just hard to comprehend that I had actually won a home of that value. So many things were going through my head at the time. I had not worked for a while and needed to go back to work, but life has changed.

“When I first walked into the home I was truly amazed at how spectacular it was and all the furnishings. I tried to take in how lucky I am to have won it. A new chapter has begun in my life."

Of course I’ll keep buying tickets! In the hope to one day win another and also to keep BoysTown operating their services. I bought these tickets because the prizes looked amazing and I felt as though I was doing a good thing for BoysTown and Kids Helpline.
