PROVIDING SUPPORT ONLINE

Our national Kids Helpline service has been operating for 24 years and is Australia's only 24/7 counselling and support service for children and young people. Our qualified counsellors provide free, private and confidential support via phone, email and web.

In this technology savvy age, we’ve seen the demand for support online increase - we’re responding to more young people than ever!

To support this increased demand, we’re redeveloping the Kids Helpline website to make it more user friendly and mobile responsive, providing easier access to our online counselling service. We’ll be sharing more about this in the new year!

In the meantime though, we’re pleased that children and young people are getting through to web counselling almost 25 minutes faster than they did at the same time last year. And since 2012, there has been an increase in our website content use…

24% increase in overall web page views

98% increase in hot topic page views

112% increase in views of teen hot topic page views
