Would You Believe This Winning Call?
Ever wondered how you’d react if you won our Prize Home Draw? What about when you received that winning call?
Would you laugh, cry, scream, dance… or would you think it couldn’t possibly be true?
That’s what happened when Ben* won Draw 466, the choice of a terrace house in Sydney or a beach home on the Gold Coast!
It all began with a phone call – that went unanswered. It was followed by another and another.
Eventually, we were able to get a hold of Ben’s wife, however, she was more than a little sceptical about the news!
Luckily for the NSW’s family, the news was real. They were $1.6M richer.
As chance would have it, the winners were already heading to the city to see family and celebrate a birthday.
They ended up celebrating a massive win too!
The couple were quick to inspect both homes, eventually deciding to stick with their home state.
“We feel so privileged to have won,” they told us.
“Both properties were wonderful but we chose the terrace house in Newtown, which, along with our family, we have enjoyed immensely.
“After winning, we visited the yourtown office and we were fortunate enough to have a guided tour through the offices.
“We met some of the people who work there and they were all exceptionally lovely. We also saw the Kids Helpline call centre where children can speak to a counsellor.”
