Parentline – it really helps!
Parentline is committed to giving the very best service. To help us do that we ask parents and carers what they think of us.
COUNSELLING. EDUCATION. SUPPORT.
Since 2010, 663 users of Parentline have participated in the client satisfaction survey and the findings show it really works:
- 96% of those surveyed expressed overall satisfaction with the service
- 95% said they would recommend Parentline to a friend
- 90% said Parentline was effective for increasing their personal capacity to cope
It was just good to be able to talk to someone I didn't know that wasn’t judgemental - in a time that seemed hopeless to me. It was someone to download to. Other families have worse problems - it put things in perspective. Parentline client.
We are a client-centred service which means listening to and respecting what parents and carers have to say. We use this feedback to keep improving our service and give parents, carers and families the very best counselling and support possible.

Parentline’s telephone and email service operates between 8am-10pm, seven days a week. Web counselling is available from 11am-2pm, Tuesday and Thursday. For counselling support call Parentline on 1300 30 1300 or visit the website.
