We're helping young people gain the skills and confidence to enter the workforce.

GET SET FOR WORK

In just a matter of weeks, 12 teens from South East Queensland who once lacked motivation and work have learned the skills to secure a job, and a brighter future.*

They're taking part in our Get Set for Work (GSFW) program, which is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.

The eight week program has taught them the skills to receive a Certificate II in Engineering Pathways; helping them to get a job. They also learnt how to build a race car from scratch!

“We start with team building and do 100% practical learning so they can enter any engineering workshop and start straight away,” Mark, one of our Youth Workers says.

The program breaks the cycle of sitting around. Mark Gollan, yourtown Youth Worker

GSFW is available free to 15-19-year-olds in Logan, North Coast, Redlands and Western Corridor in South East Queensland. Contact [email protected] or (07) 3387 8800 to find out more!
