Kicking Habits helps youthful offenders aged 18 to 25 develop effective strategies to minimise the misuse of AOD and reduce offending behaviour.

We work with 18-25 year olds at Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre, Borallon Training and Correctional Centre, Wolston Correctional Centre, Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre and Southern Queensland Correctional Centre.
The Kicking Habits program is designed to reduce the frequency and severity of negative behaviours associated with AOD during incarceration (in the short-term) and reduce recidivism rates among young offenders (in the long-term).
We offer individual support and workshops to assist you to develop skills and knowledge by:
Addressing the underlying causes of offending and reoffending
Improving core skills
Identifying strategies to achieve goals and meet challenges
Supporting you to re-engage with family, education, employment and community
